LIRA SUB is a compact high-performance subwoofer designed specifically for the LIRA line array. It features an 18” neodymium driver with a program power of 2400W and provides incredible performance for its small size. To achieve the best results possible, we recommend using the built-in DSP presets in the MX LAB FDA and P series amplifiers.

LIRA SUB is a passive subwoofer made specifically to support the MX LAB LIRA system increasing its low-frequency response down to 30 Hz. Thanks to the 3-pin mounting system, it can be used as a part of an MX LAB LIRA array or as a standalone subwoofer with a LIRA FR or LIRA FR-Lite frame.
Two frames are available with different load capabilities: the LIRA FR frame allows to mount up to 16 LIRA elements and 4 LIRA SUBs at the same time, while the LIRA FR-Lite frame can be used for mounting up to 8 LIRA elements and 2 LIRA SUBs simultaneously.
The 2400W 18” driver is capable of delivering high SPL with minimal distortion, while four bass reflex ports reduce airborne noise at even the highest output levels.
The enclosure is made of multilayer birch plywood and covered with high-quality water-repellent paint. For a greater degree of protection, the optional protective cover for the contact group is available.
To achieve the best compatibility with the LIRA line array it is recommended to use the built-in presets in the MX LAB FDA and P series amplifiers: they make all the adjustments needed for different system configurations and allow to set up the array as quickly as possible.
