KATRINA SUB is a compact yet very powerful passive cardioid subwoofer designed specifically to complement the MX LAB KATRINA systems. The 18" speaker with a program power of 2400W is able to provide high sound pressure levels for hours, and the 15" speaker on the back of the subwoofer allows to create a perfect cardioid pattern without any need for complicated sub configurations. Touring-grade durability, easy mounting system and extreme SPL without distortion make this subwoofer a perfect choice for any big venue.

KATRINA SUB allows to extend the low-end of the MX LAB KATRINA system up to 33Hz. Thanks to the 3-pin mounting system, it can be easily connected as part of the KATRINA MX LAB array or used standalone with the KATRINA FR or KATRINA FR-Lite frame.
The KATRINA FR frame is designed to mount up to 24 KATRINA elements or 12 KATRINA SUBs. The KATRINA FR-Lite frame - for 12 KATRINA elements or 6 KATRINA SUB subwoofers.
An 18" main driver has a program power of 2400W and is capable of delivering high sound pressure levels with minimal distortion. Four bass reflex ports reduce airborne noise at even the highest output levels.
The enclosure is made of multilayer birch plywood and covered with high-quality water-repellent paint. For a greater degree of protection, the optional protective cover for the contact group is available.
To achieve the best compatibility with the KATRINA line array it is recommended to use the built-in presets in the MX LAB FDA and P series amplifiers since it allows to get all the needed for different system configurations adjustments and makes the setup as quick as possible.
